Paul GF

Paul Ben-Itzak has previously written for the New York Times, Reuters,  the Atlantic City Press, the Anchorage Daily News, and many others. In 1998 Paul co-founded The Dance Insider, the leading magazine for the dance trade, and in 2012, Art Investment News. At Princeton, where his professors included Joyce Carol Oates, Robert Fagles, and Lucinda Franks, Paul was founding managing editor of the Nassau Weekly. Paul has also wirtten and directed children’s theater productions for, among others, the New Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where he was president of the city-wide Student Advisor Council and the first to serve a year term as student delegate to the Board of Education. Paul has DJ’d in San Francisco, New York, and Paris, has served as a ranch chef and stable boy  at a pony farm on the Texas-Oklahoma border, and worked as a professional translator during the wine harvest in Southwest France (Cahors) and for academic work .from Turkey and France, and managed an art gallery in the South of France.
